Really? I’ve gone 361 days without posting about microwaves?!
This time of year, I’m so thankful for instantly hot beverages. And I recommend this, which I just tried (I got it at the grocery store). Yum.

I took a video of my grandfather today. I asked him to tell the story of how he met my grandmother. I’m happy I could capture something so sweet and will be able to watch it for years to come.

The nights are long these days. It’s dark while I’m still sitting at my desk working. Thankful for nighttime transportation!

Another entry in the “I cannot believe I haven’t written this one yet” category. We had a dinner party tonight, and as I was cleaning up, I was thinking of the days in my apartment without a dishwasher. I didn’t avoid entertaining during those days, but I also didn’t entertain nearly as much as I do now. Thank goodness for a dishwasher!!

Whether it’s in the car, at home, or in the office, ’tis the season to be thankful for heat generation!

I’m thoroughly enjoying Clementine season. Or tangerine season. Or whatever you call these juicy little orange things. They are so delightful to eat, largely because they’re seedless.

Yet again, this is something I thought I had surely written about. Having a fridge at work is something I can’t imagine living without. Whether I’m bringing my lunch on any given day or keeping an extra stash of fruit or beverages for anytime snacking, it’s a must.

’Tis the season to be grateful for online shopping. In our busy first-world lives, it allows us to buy gifts without schlepping around town – ideally, giving us more time to enjoy the Christmas season! (Also, having things shipped to my office makes it easier to hide them from my husband.

Working remotely is pretty awesome, but today I’ve kicked that up a notch and I’m working from the car. Yep, working on my way to Thanksgiving in Pennsylvania. I’m using a mobile wifi thingy. Here’s to crazy technology and getting a head start on holiday traffic!!

Tonight I had the privilege of seeing an advance screening of the new Muppet movie. I am a big Muppet fan, and I love their brand of humor. It is just pure joy. I love how they appeal to kids and adults at the same time. This kind of humor is a guilt-free delight. (Note: Don’t watch the trailer before going! It steals some surprises.
